Combining old-fashioned detective work with cutting-edge AI tools, Iris delves into local history to illuminate key figures, events, and the evolution of cities and properties. Her projects range from curating historical exhibits for developers interested in highlighting a site's past to developing interactive walking tours that generate awareness about the importance of historic preservation. Iris has also collaborated with students to recreate demolished neighborhoods, using innovative methods to bring lost histories back to life. Additionally, she regularly speaks to schools, community groups, and other audiences eager to learn more about Miami's rich history.
